BizBrief is built for brokers who are licensed and obligated to protect client information. Here is exactly how that information is handled — and how you stay in control of it.
A BizBrief is a digital Information Memorandum. Like any IM, it contains information a seller would rather not have circulating freely. We have built the product so that you, the broker, control disclosure at every step — the same way you would with a PDF IM and an NDA.
Every BizBrief is served with noindex, nofollow and is not linked from anywhere public. It will not appear in Google or any search engine. The only people who can find a BizBrief are the people you send the link to.
For sensitive listings, confidential mode strips the business name, trading name, website, and other identifying details from the deal page. The business is described generically until a buyer qualifies and you decide to reveal more.
The BizBrief shows a high-level snapshot only. Detailed financials are never on the public page. A buyer requests them through your pre-qualification form — and the full financials and NDA go out only to the buyers you decide are qualified. The platform never sends financials on its own.
Every BizBrief is generated as a private preview first. You review it, edit it, and only then publish it. Until you publish, no buyer can reach it. After publish, you choose who receives the link.
Uploaded IMs, generated briefs, and enquiry data are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure, encrypted at rest. The internal admin dashboard is protected by single sign-on (Cloudflare Access). API endpoints are rate-limited and gated. We do not sell, share, or use your client's data for anything other than running BizBrief for you.
BizBrief does not replace your professional judgement or your obligations — it is a tool you operate. You decide what goes on the page, when it is published, who receives the link, and who receives the financials and NDA. The platform's job is to qualify enquiries before they reach you. The disclosure decisions stay with you.
This page describes how BizBrief currently handles information and is provided for transparency. It is not legal advice and does not replace your own professional and licensing obligations. For specific contractual terms, see our Terms of Service. If you have a security question that is not answered here, contact us at notifications@bizbrief.app.
